After a short foot chase, Richmond police officers arrested a man in the Richmond Times-Dispatch’s loading dock Monday afternoon. The man had been spotted with a gun in his clothing at a convenience store on Broad Street, said Richmond police Sgt. Eric Flick, and an officer was called to the scene. When the officer tried to pat the man down, he fled, and the officer spotted the gun in the man’s waistband, Flick said. As he fled, the man turned in to the Times-Dispatch’s loading dock, but found himself boxed in and was arrested, police said.
